“It’s An Old Manx Custom“ (1930)

Full title reads: “Douglas. ’It’s an old Manx custom’. Isle of Man celebrates opening of her ancient and unique Parliament, promulgating the Island Laws from Tynwald Hill in English and Manx.“ Douglas, Isle of Man. A military officer leads a procession carrying a ceremonial sword. He is followed by various Manx dignitaries and Members of the Tynwald. The walk past a guard of honour and are watched by large crowds. Under a canopy a senior lawyer and the Arch Deacon of Man read out the laws passed in the last session of the Parliament on the Hill of Laws. The crowd cheer.
