Her death sparked protests in Iran & around the world. Many people in Iran have been arrested, injured & murdered as a result of the uprising, but is hasn’t deterred Iranian’s from fighting for basic human rights for women in their country. The singer in this video Saba Zamenii was arrested in Iran 2 years ago for being a female singer. She spent 3 months in prison. At the start of 2022, she was able to move to Canada (where it’s legal for women to be singers), and she is adding her voice to the growing protest against the Islamic Regime.
