New In Blue Episode 6 | New Tools for Winter 2020/2021, Community Tool Grant & Tools from the Past

New tool alert! Join Chief Mechanic Eric Hawkins and Director of Education Calvin Jones as they cover the latest gear from Park Tool and keep you up-to-date with everything new (and old) in blue. In this episode, we introduce all-new bearing removal and installation kits, an updated bench mount repair stand, a new repair stand post protector, a slide hammer extractor as well as our new starter, advanced, and professional mechanic tool kits. We also announce the 2021 Park Tool Community Tool Grant, our annual program in which we award grants consisting of bicycle tools and repair stands to ten nonprofit organizations or community groups. Eric and Calvin also take a field trip down to the shop to take a look at some old and discontinued tools, giving a glimpse of life as a bike mechanic in years past.
