Ubisoft Director Claims That Manual Bans Are Unfeasible - Rainbow Six Siege
Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege Esports Director Wei Yue went on a mini Twitter tirade this week, arguing with fans about the feasibility of manually banning suspected cheaters based on submitted evidence. In his heated comments, he claims that banning players based on video evidence would be a “drop in the ocean“ and therefore a waste of time... but that throws up the question: How does Ubisoft handle customer support tickets that provide evidence of cheating or toxic behaviour? The sad answer is that (at least sometimes) these requests are ignored.
