Making a Baroque-Style Leather Wester Holster Leather Craft ASMR

Playing around with my xTool P2 laser again. This time laser tooling a decorative Single Action Army holster with an intricate “baroque“ floral motif. Is carving leather with a laser cheating? It’s an interesting question, but it’s an idea I’ve been wanting to try on either a leather holster or knife sheath. The laser engraver/cutter offers so many possibilities for designs that would be impossible to do by hand. Since I’m frequently asked what my power and speed settings are for leather working, I made sure to show my engrave and cutting numbers (this is a 55W CO2 laser). While I have a Lightburn subscription, I’m using xTool’s Creative Space to run the machine. All the actual design work is done in Adobe Illustrator.
