In this video, I’m showing you how I mixed my drum kit inside my audio interface, using only it’s own built-in effects (AFX). This is all made possible with the Antelope Orion Studio Synergy Core. The purpose of this setup? Pre-mix my drums at home, bring my drums and interface to Browne’s studio, and start playing immediately without needing to stop and mix, or run multiple lines just to get started. It also allows use of an underpowered computer, while still getting a very low-latency drum mix.
