Uing foil to make the shape first and than I used paper mache clay to cover it all. It became very heavy after using clay. So to balance it I took heavy rock/stone piece and a bowl of plastic. I made beads as well with clay of paper. But Uf you want you can use the beads ready ones. But oaper beads will stay for long. After finishing all main stuff I used white acrylic paint to cover all. I actually forgot to sand off the shell after applying clay. It is better before colouring, sand off the shell so it will give smooth finishing. I have used silver metallic colour to get the look of shell. And than I used Silver leaf to get realistic looks somehow. But If you don’t want to use colours you can only use silver leaf to cover all the shell. It became very heavy at the end. I hope you liked this tutorial.
