AdiYogi Shiva (A yoga Nritya by Aradhana Sarangi, Disciple of Guru Shri Niranjan Rout)

On the auspicious occasion of International Yoga day, I am presenting this act. This act is an incorporation of various forms of Shiva. We should remember that, the yogi is not a different body, it is us only. With every breathe we are experiencing his presence within us. “I breath in, Shiva is in me, I breath out, I am in Shiva” A mindful breathing and a moment full of consciousness act is nothing but Yoga. 1. AdiYogi : It is said that, 5000 years ago, Shiva himself appeared as a yogi and stayed seated for days and weeks in a very calm and serene state of mind. The SaptaRishi learned the act of this ultimate living from the Yogi and taught humanity about leading a balanced life through yoga. My tribute to the Yogi is through Astanga Yoga (The physical rendition of Yoga). 2. KaalaBhairava : Kaala means “Time and Death”. Bhairava means God. The God of Time and Death.
