Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run - PS2 - Full Playthrough (Semi-Blind, Hard Difficulty)
A complete playthrough of Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run on the hardest difficulty. This came out in 2006 and was developed by Terminal Reality (RoadKill, BloodRayne). It’s the 6th main entry in the Spy Hunter series and the 3rd title of the rebooted 6th generation series. It was originally meant to be a tie in with a movie starring Dwayne Johnson, who’s also the main character in the game. The movie fell through but the game was released.
As a Spy Hunter title it’s terrible, you only drive the Interceptor for about 15% of the game, but as a cheesy PS2 action adventure, it’s decent, as long as you don’t take it too seriously. Most of the game is 3rd person shooting, but there’s also hand to hand combat and even a few puzzles.
I’m using the original disc on a 60GB backwards compatible PS3. I’ve spliced at checkpoints if I died, if you see an “autosaving“ pop up, then a jump cut, that usually means I died after that checkpoint and restarted. Obviously, any restarted parts won’t be blind, but it’s always my first time reaching each checkpoint and completing each mission.
If you’re looking for a particular mission or section I’ve split this up into a playlist here
