GAME RECAP: Penguins at Coyotes () | Crosby Ties Recchi

The Pittsburgh Penguins traveled to the desert in Arizona to take on the Coyotes. Wasting no time, former Penguin Jason Zucker scored for Arizona a few minutes into the game. Arizona held the lead until the Penguins tied the game early in the 2nd P.O Joseph skated the puck into the zone with the puck and quickly dished it to Lars Eller wide. Eller tied the game with his shot. Arizona had a reply goal of their own shortly after. Looking to tie the game once again, Erik Karlsson passed from the blue line to Sidney Crosby on the goal line. Crosby simply redirected the puck toward the net to tie the game 2-2. With this goal, Crosby is now tied with Mark Recchi for all-time goals in the NHL. Unfortunately, before the end of the 2nd, the Coyotes took the lead back for a third time. Arizona only added to the lead in the 3rd.
