German Ship Prepares to Remove Deadly Cargo from Site of Massive Beirut Port Explosion

A ship is preparing to take a potentially deadly cargo from Lebanon to Germany. It’s loaded with 59 containers of ’toxic, cancerous, flammable and highly reactive’ materials recovered from the site of last year’s massive explosion in the port of Beirut. More than 200 people were killed and thousands more injured in August’s blast.
