Volcanic eruption in France! Piton de la Fournaise woke up in Reunion

The eruption of the Piton de la Fournaise volcano, in the southeast of Reunion Island, France! Volcanic activity remains stable, with a flow front that extends 3.5 km and moves at a speed of 40 m/h, now lies between 2 and 2.5 km from RN2. The eruption began on 02/07/2023, continues around 08:30 local time. The amplitude of the volcanic shock (indicator of lava and gas ejection to the surface) has remained relatively stable over the past 24 hours with little fluctuation in amplitude.
