Audio Really simple signal flow on this one: Ibanez AFR4 (Both piezo and magnetic pickups at full, bass 3dB, treble at 0) D’Addario Pro Steels Planet Waves cables Warwick Hellborg Preamp - all settings at unity RME Fireface UFX Avid Pro Tools Waves F6 dynamic EQ - High Q filter at 114Hz -7dB to tame the low end proximity sound (probably needs more notches down there to be honest), octave wide Q cut at 680 of 6dB to force focus on mids, and bass, narrow Q cut at of -7dB to tame the high end brittle tone of the frets that comes through with high dynamic playing. Brainworx Vertigo VSC-2 compressor, medium threshold, 3:1 ratio, slow attack, fast release, unity make up gain, creating roughly 4dB of gain reduction.
