CONVICTED: The Nick Watt Five

Five anti-lockdown protesters who criticised reporter Nick Watt during an anti-lockdown protest and freedom rally in June 2021 (including the man who infamously bashed a spoon on a tin) were convicted at Westminster Magistrates Court on 1st August 2022 for allegedly ’causing distress’ to the BBC employee. The Wattgate victims will be sentenced later this month and plan to appeal (link to support them below).
