"Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" (Demon) by Jenkins | Geometry Dash
Ever since I saw the first previews of this around 6 months ago, I knew I had to showcase it once it got finished. It’s a rather simple level visually, especially compared to Jenkins’s previous works, but it’s still amazing to me. The biggest reason for that is its synchronization to the song. Most levels do a good job of timing visuals such as color pulses or simple effects to the song, or in the gameplay with clicks to the beat, but this goes even further. We go even further with repeating visuals for the repeating parts of the song. I can’t say I’ve seen that in Geometry Dash often, and it works very well in my opinion. Usually I’d find repeating parts a bit boring visually, but since they’re all this good-looking and the level is so long, there’s plenty to enjoy here regardless.
In terms of gameplay, there’s also some repetition, such as plenty of double and triple spikes in a row in the first few parts and more throughout the level. I think it works well to conn
