SUNN O)))’s Shoshin (初心) Duo Live at Pioneer Works (Full Set)

Characterized by slow tempos, heavy distortion, and environmental effects, the music and performances of SUNN O))) saturate their environments with monolithic soundscapes and immersive atmospheres. In December 2022, guitarists Stephen O’Malley and Greg Anderson, who founded the experimental metal band in Seattle in 1998, returned to the live aspect in its core, original raw form. The two performed as Shoshin (初心) Duo, immersing the audience in profound valve amplification, spectral harmonics, distortion, and volume. Witness a live experience of physical sound, fog, and glacial maximalism like no other. This project is supported by the Alfred P.
