This is the demo tape recorded in 1985 for Metallica’s third studio album, “Master of Puppets“. It features instrumental versions of three songs that were included in the album: “Battery“, “Master of Puppets“ and “Disposable Heroes“, as well as “Only Thing“, which was later split into two new songs: “Welcome Home (Sanitarium)“ and “Orion“. All songs, except “Master of Puppets“, also have versions with vocals.
