Chinese agricultural machinery manufacturers gear up to meet overseas demand

Companies that make agricultural machinery in east China’s Zhejiang Province are ramping up production to accommodate growing demand from overseas markets. At a firm based in Taizhou, workers are loading hundreds of sprayers onto flatbed trucks that are destined for European clients. Its manager says in January they shipped about 12 containers of products a day for a monthly export value of around 13 million U.S. dollars. To capitalize on escalating overseas demand, the manager says they’re looking to expand their workforce. To cater to the evolving market demand, many agricultural machinery manufacturers are incorporating smart technologies into their products and designs. Customs data shows that in the first two months of this year, Zhejiang’s export value for agricultural machinery surged by 40 percent compared to the same period last year. __________________ ShanghaiEye focuses on producing top-quality contents.
