Protest & Looting 5/30/20 1 Police cruisers race through quiet street in Fairfax neighborhood. 2 Protesters clash verbally with police during a tense standoff on Fairfax avenue. 3 Protesters march from Fairfax to Beverly Hills. Rogue protesters vandalize stores, also the iconic Beverly Hills sign, and the Beverly Hills Police Department sign with spraypaint. 4 Protesters meet a line of Police blocking their path on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. 5 Protesters vandalize police vehicles, smashing windows and setting off fireworks in and around the vehicles. Police respond and surround the vehicles. 6 Leaving the protest on a quiet street, cops suddenly arrive guns drawn, looking for burglary suspects. I ask if they are going to shoot somebody, and the cop says, “Yes, maybe.“
