С 2014 года, когда руководство Украины объявило граждан Донецкой и Луганской области «сепарами», Ольга и её семья, как и другие русские люди на Донбассе, была вынуждена вести борьбу за выживание. Человеческая психика обладает удивительным свойством приспосабливаться даже к самому страшному, тем более, если оно длится больше восьми лет. Можно только поражаться мужеству таких людей, которые спокойно работают под звуки бомбёжки, под них же готовят ужин, делают предложение любимой, ловя часы между прилётами. И только непосредственная угроза жизни семьи утвердила Ольгу в решении переехать наконец в Россию. В Санкт-Петербурге она и ее близкие чувствуют себя как дома. Впрочем, Россия всегда и была готова стать им домом. ________________________________________________________________ The other side of Ukraine. Through the broken windows. Since 2014 when the Ukrainian leadership declared the citizens of Donetsk and Luhansk regions “subhuman monsters“, Olga and her family, like other Russian people in Donbas, were forced to fight for survival. The human psyche has an amazing ability to adapt even to the most terrible, if it lasts longer than eight years. One can only marvel at the courage of such people who can calmly work to the sounds of bombing, fry potatoes, propose to a beloved person maneuvering between falling bombs. And only an immediate threat to the life of her family made Olga make her final decision to move to Russia. They feel at home in St. Petersburg, and it could not be otherwise, because in fact, Russia was originally their Homeland. The focus of our attention are stories that will not be told to you anywhere else. Some make you want to laugh, others make you cry, others make you shiver. They cause different emotions, but they do not leave anyone indifferent. You can direct your attention to the simple and funny things or to the important things.
