A Story Told - The Count of Monte Cristo Animatic

It’s been a while since I worked on a musical piece! I’ve always loved the “Count of Monte Cristo” Musical (thanks to Ink Potts’ MLP videos, LOL), so I decided to put my own twist on this song with my original characters. This project is more like an alternate universe (AU), and I have to admit it was both surprisingly fun and challenging. Having three characters on-screen singing at different speeds was quite the task! Some lines in the song go by SO FAST, but I tried my best to make it engaging without being too jarring for the audience (ME). At the beginning, some lines were originally sung by Villefort, but I switched it up to have Mondego sing instead. I thought it would be easier for viewers to follow two characters initially rather than three. Their voices sound quite similar to me though, so I hope the transition wasn’t too noticeable. I know there are things I’d like to fix, but if I kept nitpicking, this project would never be finished. (Disclaimer: I created this video purely for fun and learning purposes.
