Lot 900: MORTIER 115 KEY DANCE ORGAN

36’ W. x 19’ T. x 5’ D. Manufactured by the firm of Theofiel Mortier, Antwerp, Belgium in the very early 1900’s. This Mortier Dance Organ is an extremely fine example from the most famous and respected firm of Dance Organ builders in all of Europe. This organ includes MANY ranks (sets) of pipes, approximately 600 pipes, brass trumpets, and percussion with multiple drums, chimes, and other musical effects. It was restored by the firm of J. Verbeeck in Belgium and plays magnificently. It is a complete joy to entertain all that have the privilege to hear it! Due to size and requirements of disassembly this instrument will be sold via a video presentation online and at the auction house. The 115 Key Mortier is assembled and in working order at the collection building of Mr. Paul and son Chris Andrews in Fort Worth, Texas.
