More than 400 Airborne Forces servicemen made their first parachute jump in the Ivanovo region As part of the airborne training, paratroopers from the Ivanovo Guards Airborne Unit made more than 400 parachute jumps from An-2 aircraft using D-10 parachute systems. More than 350 conscripts from the newly arrived reinforcements, as well as about 50 officers and warrant officers - graduates of military schools of the 2024 Ivanovo Guards Airborne Unit, who had no parachute training before arriving at the unit, made their first parachute jump from an An-2 aircraft of the Military Transport Aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces upon completion of the training course. During the jumps, the unit’s servicemen demonstrated bold and decisive actions, as well as the ability to calmly carry out the task in any conditions; the parachute systems’ equipment worked as expected.
