Listed as one of the Top 25 Synthpop Songs of 2022 (So Far) on , esteemed music journalist Chris Brandon raves that the song is “all skittering histrionics that topple through genres, while CZARINA provides a masterclass in vocal gymnastics. Her rhythmic chant is unlike anything I’ve ever heard.” Directed and produced by CZARINA and her husband, DeadlyKawaii (together working as a creative powerhouse known as “The Kitsunes”), “Excelsior” was filmed in their coastal home in Costa Da Morte in Galicia, featuring epic seascapes, the regions’s natural raw beauty and the artist’s untethered, multi-faceted performances. CZARINA, who is a devout pagan and Animism Plus mystic, weaves emblems of her spirituality and culture within all her work and artistic universe. ”Excelsior” and all original songs in Arcana were written, composed, arranged, performed, recorded and produced by CZARINA. Von Hertzog (VHxRR, Information Society) of The Social Club (Reading, PA) served as Co-Producer, Mixing, and Mastering Engineer. The album art and all visuals were created by DeadlyKawaii and CZARINA together. CZARINA is Vero Faye Kitsuné, an award-winning electronic and rock musician, producer, songwriter, filmmaker, visual artist, creative director, designer and an esteemed fashion industry veteran originally from New York City. Known for her multi-disciplinary approach, avant-garde conceptual narratives and elevated aesthetic, CZARINA combines transcendentalism and mysticism with her love for futurist culture, cybernetics, biomechanics, art and ancient history, mythology, folklore, high fashion and the discipline that comes with her Budo martial arts training. ●▰▰▰⬇▰▰▰● ❤️ FOLLOW CZARINA ► Bandcamp: ► Instagram: ► Facebook: ► Twitter: ► Website: ► Merch: ► Spotify: ●▰▰▰⬇▰▰▰● LYRICS “Excelsior“ I’ve come to see far in this light Beyond extraordinary life Didn’t see you coming Til your hand came reaching In the midst of falling Convinced I won’t make it And last through the night Til you’ve reached out your hand To me Pulling me Holding me Hold so we can Fly, fly fly away Hold on to me tight We’re up for one sick helluva ride Up in the sky We’ve come so far to become all this might Chance on our side None of it would ever pass us by Come to reach down Come, come, come Before I hit the ground With all of this might In your wings we take one helluva jump Up in the sky Taking in and basking in all of this light Chance on our side None of it would ever pass us by Come to reach down Come, come, come Before I hit the ground So take me higher Fly, fly fly away I’ve come to see far in this light Beyond extraordinary life Didn’t see you coming Til your hand came reaching In the midst of falling Convinced I won’t make it And last through the night Come to reach down Come, come, come Before I hit the ground So take me higher I’ve come to see far in this light Fly, fly, fly away #darkTunes #CZARINA #excelsior
