Various shots of the area high in the Tatras mountains where the world ski jumping championship is being held. Various shots of competing teams lined up before games in the presence of Czech President Ludwik Svoboda and First Secretary Gustav Husak. Various shots including some good slow motion flights of the ski jumpers in action. We see all three finalists jump. They are Garij Napalkov of Russia who wins the gold, Kasaya of Japan who wins silver and Grini of Norway who wins the bronze. Various shots of the walkers in actions during the 30 km walk. The eventual winner is Viaceslav Vedenin of USSR. Second was Gerhard Grimmer of East Germany and third Norwegian Odd Martinsen.
