Awesome Nature - Illgraben, the Gigantic Trench - Flash Flood Extreme Erosion at work - Mavic Air 2

The Illgraben is on average almost 5000ft deep trench, with very active erosion and lots of dramatic mudflows and flash floods. It’s in the beautiful Valais area in the Swiss mountains. You can hike to the ridge of the Illgraben or even to the Illhorn from the town Chandolin, or the small village Soussillon in the Val D’Anniviers. It’s a place, where you can literally see geology at Work, it’s one of the most unstable valleys of Switzerland. We filmed it from above and from the valles bottom with the drone DJI Mavic Air 2. Der Illgraben ist ein durchschnittlich 1500m tiefer Graben mit sehr aktiver Erosion und vielen dramatischen Murgängen. Er liegt im schönen Wallis in den Schweizer Bergen. Man kan zur Kante des Illgrabens oder sogar aufs Illhorn wandern, ausgehende von den Orten Chandolin oder Soussillon im Val D’Anniviers. Es ist ein Ort, an dem man Geologie bei der Arbeit sehen kann, es ist eines der instabilsten Täler der Schweiz.
