Should I FREEZE MYSELF when I die? | S2E9 with Katee Sackhoff

I have built my career on the foundation of my favorite genre, Science Fiction. So this episode we dive into something that, when I heard about it, immediately captured the side of me that loves to ponder the possibilities of the future! Cryonics according to wikipedia “is the low-temperature freezing (usually at −196 °C or −320.8 °F or 77.1 K) and storage of a human corpse or severed head, with the speculative hope that resurrection may be possible in the future.“ Follow me as I get a fascinating tour of a real-life cryonics facility, with real-life (currently dead) frozen bodies in it 😳You can decide for yourself if cryonics lands more in the realm of science or fiction. There has been some definite controversy around this subject and I’m not here to promote it one way or the other. But something I really appreciated about my tour with Dr. Max More is that he was never pushy about it, and he made it very very clear to me that there are no guarantees and no promises of success when it comes to signing up for cryonics. It’s an adventure, and like all adventures, the final outcome is still unknown. ALCOR CRYONICS ‣ What do you think about cryonics? Would you consider it? Why? Why not?
