ივერია - July Morning (1975)

From the debut, self-titled album of one of the best Georgian rock bands, “Iveria“. This album mostly explores psychedelic rock enriched with unique Georgian folk music. Iveria cover Uriah Heep’s classic song, July Morning. This is one of the two Uriah Heep covers on the album. The missteps on the lyrics can be easily explained by unavailability of the written version of the text, as Uriah Heep’s music was formally prohibited in Soviet Union and the vinyl of “Look At Yourself“ was probably illegally smuggled.
