November 19th, 2022. It was freezing cold and sunny, not ideal weather for fishing. However, with as much stealth as I’ve ever attempted and some fly adjustments it turned out to be a great day on a beautiful tailwater stretch of a mostly frozen creek. I even landed my biggest fish on Tenkara so far - a beautiful 15-16 inch brown trout. Unfortunately, the net slipped from between my legs while trying to take a good shot of him and I lost him. Using my small backup net didn’t make things easier either. Exciting day of fishing!
