Polonaise, Mazurka and Krakowiak of Russian composers.
#Polonaise, #Mazurka and #Krakowiak. Polonaise dance. Russian mazurka. Polonaise and mazurka. Mazurka dance. Krakowiak dance.
These three dances are of Polish origin which have perfectly taken root on Russian soil and embodied in the works of Russian composers. These dances, especially the polonaise, enriched not only Russian national culture, but also enriched the culture of European civilization as a whole. The polonaise appeared in Russia in the middle of the XVII century (in the 1650s – 1670s) and earlier in Russia it was called, the “Polish” dance. The polonaise was especially popular in Russia in the 18th century during magnificent celebrations. Balls started from the polonaise and it was a dance during which the Russian nobility could decently and privately look after and communicate with next popular dance. This is mazurka. In the XVII century it was known as a peasant dance, and in the XIX century a mazurka appeared at balls in various European countries.
