TRIP REPORT - Amtrak Empire Builder, Portland to St Louis

Welcome to part 3 of my Oregon adventure. After years of requests, I finally made it on the Empire Builder. This is one of Amtrak’s most famous and scenic routes. Things quite literally go off the rails during this trip, so on top of reviewing the train, I also got to see how Amtrak handles operational issues and missed connections.
