U-matic lives! at Staffs uni tech dungeon. Qucik vid of when my friend Philtron & I commandered a shopping trolley to cart my u-matic recorder down to Staffs’ Uni tech dungeon. There amongst the corpses of elderly tech’ like Beta SP & 9mm film, we watched a German automotive video shot on u-matic tape from 1982...& then for lighter relief we watched Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace through the machine’s circuits - via a DVD player. What else are two deviant TV under-grads supposed to do?? Drink & girls you say?!
