Musical group Cold Insight is a solo project of the prolific French musician Sebastien Pierre, who is known for participating in bands such as Inborn Suffering, Fractal Gates and Lethian Dreams. The music resembles the instrumental Post Metal with atmospheric keys a la God is an Astronaut. In some places, the album resembles the melodic Death / Doom, for example, the Distance track (the only track with vocal parts), as if borrowed from the repertoire of the same Fractal Gates.
