Prince William says ‘anti-Semitism has no place in society’ as he returns to work

The Prince and Princess of Wales are both “extremely concerned” about the rise in anti-Semitism in the UK, the Prince has said, as he tells the Jewish community he wants to reassure them that “people do care, people do listen”. The Prince, who last week issued a statement urging the end to killing in Gaza, said “anti-Semitism has no place in society”, adding that he was “so sorry” those he was speaking to had experienced it. Visiting the Western Marble Arch Synagogue in London, he met with young people and a Holocaust survivor to hear of their experiences, as part of a double visit to highlight the effects of war in the Middle East.
