Turkey now! A hellish thunderstorm has hit Antalya!

On January 21, a strong thunderstorm struck Antalya, Turkey. The Met Office had issued a yellow warning yesterday. The downpour, which began at 7 pm, quickly turned into heavy hail. The storm lasted about 30 minutes. Billions of hailstones rained down on streets and cars. The city literally became white. Residents sought safe shelters. Some citizens covered their cars to avoid damage. Roads were flooded in some areas. There were no reports of casualties. Antalya is a resort and port city in southern Turkey on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. The population is 1.5 million people.
