Peyreleau, a Magnificent Romanesque Village in a Nest of Greenery, Aveyron France, 4K Virtual Walk

A former fortified city dating back to the 11th century, Peyreleau is an old walled village which was built on a promontory on the slopes of the Causse Noir, at the confluence of the Tarn and the Jonte rivers. Peyreleau, commune of Aveyron, but on the borders of of Lozère, in a preserved natural landscaped environment, opens with elegance and majesty the door of the gorges of these two rivers. Peyreleau is located in the large classified site of the Tarn and Jonte gorges, the Grands Causses regional natural park and the territory of the Causses and Cévennes, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for the cultural landscape of agropastoralism. Peyreleau faces the Lozérien village of Le Rozier, just at the end of the bridge that crosses the Jonte.
