Chris Martin of Coldplay Surprises the Crowd and Joins 8th Grade Rock Band

At a fundraising concert for Chords 2 Cure, a pediatric cancer research in Santa Monica, California, Chris Martin surprised a delighted crowd by joining a rock band of 8th graders called A-Side and playing “Fix You,“ “Twisted Logic,“ and covering Prince’s “Raspberry Beret“ – what a magical, incredible thing to do for everyone, especially the young musicians on the stage (who played really well!)
