[MU:CON 2020] 코토바 (cotoba)

The name “cotoba” means ‘word’. They are a far east math rock and post-rock act hailing from Seoul. The band plays with the feeling of loss that cannot be expressed by words, but instead only thought intricate and clean guitar tones, powerful and subdued bass lines, and eurythmic percussive elements that translates into an immersive live experience. After the first album “form of Tongue” sold out, their sophomore record ‘name of The Seasons.’ ranked 1st in K-INDIE CHART. In the past year, cotoba has played continuous sold out shows and extensively toured Japan. The math rock ensemble is proving to be a group to watch out for.
