Investigating New Brunswick’s mysterious, fatal brain disease

It’s been over a year since doctors in New Brunswick first identified an “unusual combination of neurological symptoms“ in a cluster of patients. Out of the 48 reported cases to date, six people have lost their lives to the illness. Health officials have launched an investigation to try to determine the cause.
