As the Lunar Module pilot on Apollo 16, Charles ‘Charlie’ Duke became the tenth person to step onto the moon and one of only six people to experience the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) - one of the most advanced, innovative electric vehicles ever. And yet, until recently, he hadn’t driven an electric car on earth. To mark the 50th anniversary of the first LRV landings on the lunar surface, he did just that.
