How to sharpen a knife with a can of beans

Dull tools are a pain. This applies especially to kitchen knives. There’s nothing more annoying than preparing food with an implement that squashes the ingredients rather than cutting them. You can probably imagine that I have quite a few sharpening implements around my house. Still, I am always keen to try new methods of achieving a razor edge on my cooking knives.
