No titles. London. Various shots of girls in summer dresses from the Windmill Theatre arriving at an airfield in open cars and getting into two aeroplanes. The girls carry swimsuits and another carries a beach ball. A small dog is carefully put on one of the planes. The Percival Proctor planes take off. Aerial view over London, showing St Paul’s Cathedral (from NP 117). Air to air shots as we fly over the coast and Worthing seaside pier. The planes come in to land and we see the girls getting out - in their swimsuits! (They changed in mid-air.) The girls run across the airfield and climb over rocks to get to the beach. The dog is passed down. The girls start pumping an inflatable dinghy, then head towards the sea, leaving the dog to guard their clothes. Nice shots of the girls having fun, splashing about in the water and playing with their beach ball. Note: female pilot of one of the planes is Sheila Van Damm, daughter of Vivian Van Damm who owned the Windmill Theatre. FILM ID:1341.3 A VIDEO
