November 2009: The end of a long tour, a broken down RV and a generous friend led Jules and I to New York City. On tour, we camped up the west coast and then half way across Canada. Starting at Dockwhiler in LA and ending in Salt Saint Marie. We had our guitar cases filled with pot in Willits, hiked through the redwoods in Felton, met long lost relatives in Vancouver Island and stood on top of the Rocky Mountains in Canada. On that tour we played in so many contexts. We opened for Sheryl Crow, played house parties, bars, coffee shops, small festivals and beach parties. We drove further north.
