The network publishes footage from the crash site of the IL-76 cargo plane, which crashed this morning in Sudan - the cause of the crash is not completely clear, but it is reported that the ship was shot down. Local media and bloggers write that there were Russians on board - this information is now being verified by the Russian Embassy in the country. At the same time, the documents of two Russian citizens were found.
It is also reported that the plane was chartered by the UAE, and it was based in Bishkek, at the Manas International Airport. Most likely, it was delivering aid from the UAE to Chad, but was shot down by “friendly fire“ - at least, this is what the specialized channels say. It is not yet known exactly how many people were on board - the ship went down in Darfur, where hostilities are taking place, so it is difficult to find out anything.
