Walking in the Forest trail at Hogtown Creek Headwaters Nature Park, Gainesville Florida. This video was filmed in the late afternoon in May of 2021 on a hot day. The park had children playing on the playgrounds and a karate class taking place in the field. Natural sounds of birds, insects, and lizards can be heard along with some vehicle noise from nearby highways. The trail is mixed forest of pine and hardwoods. It also has some swamp land bogs. The headwaters is the beginning of the Hogtown Creek. The property belonged to the Hartman family which used the property as a dairy farm around the 1880’s.
