BC Government Removes Rental Restrictions For All Strata Buildings, Effective Immediately

The BC Government has officially removed rental restrictions from all strata buildings in BC. This will over ride any existing strata bylaws which restricted rentals. This will not only free up some much needed rental supply but could force some sales that would be now subject to the empty homes tax and speculation tax.
