A Russian Mi-28 military helicopter crashed in the Dzhankoy region of Crimea, killing two pilots on May 12. Russia’s TASS news agency cited the Russian defence ministry which attributed the crash to equipment failure The planned training flight was not carrying any ammunition, and caused no destruction on the ground, according to the Russian MOD.
