[HD] wHaT a whole damn project that isn’t a mep part OR a mep call?? no i can explain i swear, just let me point out first that; ❗THIS IS AN AU (ALTERNATE UNIVERSE) ❗THIS IS A FANMADE STORY (NOT CANON) ❗ YES, THAT IS SIMBA MANIPED AS KOPA I KNOW ok now that i’ve cleared things up for my fav comments (the ones pointing out that Kopa isn’t real or alive) LET’S GET INTO THIS 🤠 first of all, this video is MAJORLY inspired by this beautiful edit from btloov! I’ve had this little idea of evil!Kopa back in November, when I made all the manips of him you see in this edit. But my lazy ass actually got down to start composing and editing this whole thing about a month ago 🤡 originally, this would only be focused on Kopa returning and having his revenge on Zira, since in most versions of his story even if comes back alive he never confronts Zira again. Eventually, I decided to further the story and then I thought, what if Kopa did come back home, but wasn’t so happy to see his family again? What if he grew up all these years believing that we had forgotten him, and never cared enough to know if there is even a slight chance he could be alive somewhere? Wouldn’t hatred have grown inside of him? GOD I missed editing crossovers so much, and this PMV style is so fun to work with. remind me to do it more often 🥸 not that I’m gonna listen but- tell me what you think in the comments! 🖤 STORY -------------- - It starts with foreshadowing. Some time after Kopa has run away, Zira walks around in the outlands and sees a ghostly figure of the cub asking her if she had her revenge. - The story goes back to the past, before Kopa disappears. Zira hated the cub, merely for being Simba’s son, and to get her revenge on him Zira decides to take someone away from Simba as well. Kopa occasionally hangs out with Vitani in the outlands, making an easy target for Zira. Once Kopa is alone, Zira confronts him and admits her plans. Kopa begs her not to do it, and eventually he runs away in the deserts after getting scratched in the face. Zira realizes she doesn’t have the heart to finish him off, so she just makes sure Kopa disappears and never comes back. Years later, the story now takes place after the events of the second movie. Zira has survived her fall on the river, and now lives in exile far away from the Pridelands. A lion with rather familiar scars confronts her, and Zira immediately recognizes him. Kopa is alive, and much different than the cub she had once confronted. After his encounter with Zira, Kopa has decided to return to his home, with the only wish to reclaim the throne that is rightfully his. To regain the life he lost so unfairly. His family is shocked by his presence. Simba and Nala recognize their son, but their tears of joy quickly turn to tears of horror as they realize what Kopa has turned into. Kiara and Kovu try to talk and convince him that things aren’t the way he sees them, but Kopa wouldn’t change his mind so easily. He has made up his decisions for years, and nothing can make him turn back now. Even Vitani struggles to recognize her childhood friend.
