Commenting on “I’ll Find You,“ vocalist/guitarist Mark Whelan says: “This is our first love song. It’s about overcoming all the obstacles between you and the person you love. Find them.“ “I’ll Find You“ follows a theme of deep personal matters on Last Day of Sun, as Whelan draws from his own recent experience overcoming leukemia last year and the new found perspective he gained along the way. Now cancer free, the beloved frontman returns rejuvenated with renewed determination and inspiration on the band’s most crucial and ferocious record yet. Whelan says of the new record: “What started as a fictional concept album became incredibly real. I was facing certain death, but as I kept writing the album it’s theme became clear.
