BEGINNING RUSSIAN - WRITING 11 Zoia

This is the last video of 11 videos on Writing Russian (Cyrillic alphabet) letters. The last three letters of the Russian alphabet are 3 vowels: Э Ю Я (Watch my Vowels video, please!). And of course Я (я) is also a Russian Personal (Subject) Pronoun 1st person singular - “I“. So we have a joke in Russian. If somebody is absorbed with himself or herself too much, we would say, “Я - последняя буква алфавита!“ [(Ya) is the last letter of the alphabet!“]. And the last little hint: the letter Я looks like English (Latin) alphabet R looking in the mirror! Thanks for studying with me!
